If you're looking for a break after a long walk along the Panama city beach, Pier Park is a convenient and pleasant idea. Shopping options range from beach-themed apparel stores to department stores and high-end chain. This could be a good place to take a lunch or a short break.
When you come to Panama City Beach, don't miss Gulf World Marine Park located on the front road. This is one of Panama City's fun family attractions, with a wide variety of marine life and daily shows featuring dolphins, sea lions, a variety of birds, and more. Hands-on experiences include a stingray pool and interactive programs that involve swimming with dolphins or joining a Dolphin Camp. The park is open seasonally and closes between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Or an outing to Coconut Creek Family Theme Park is a great off-beach option for families visiting with kids. The park has mini golf, with two 18-hole courses, and a large outdoor maze for kids to burn off some energy.
To add a little fun and excitement to your stay, a boat tour is a great way to explore these waters.
